Seventh day... completed

Dear all,

Before I discuss my picture for today I want to discuss a recent purchase I made. For the "My Museum" book I needed to create things in a lot of different sizes, most of them small. I have a big paper trimmer but it is heavy and too large for cutting out these small pieces. I tried to use a blade and a metal ruler but that took ages and really frustrated me. So, I purchased a small paper trimmer. Its the A5 Fiskars Portable Paper Trimmer. I purchased mine from Amazon and I'll put the link below in case any of you want to check it out.

I love it, it was the best paper trimmer I could have purchased to do these types of products with. I can keep it handy and it doesn't take up all my desk space to cut out a small piece of card. Anyway, on to the picture for today. I decided that no museum would be complete without a portrait. I thought this stamp looked a bit like a old fashioned queen so I thought she fit the bill perfectly.

The stamp is from Jasmine Beckett-Griffith and is called Have Some More Champagne. Here it is:

I coloured her in with a large amount of Copic markers. I have to admit I didn't think she would take as long as she did. Her hair probably took the longest. I think she has turned out really well.

I tried not to make the background too complicated so that she would stand out.  Here she is in her frame in the museum:

 I hope you enjoyed reading.
