Fourth Day ... Completed

I have completed another day in the 30 in 30 challenge!

Yesterday I got a haul which I decided to put to good use today. I got the full set of Spectrum Aqua pens. My first impressions of them was good. They blend nicely and the cardstock I got in the bundle works fantastic with them. I have used pan watercolours before and Twinkling H2O's and they are great but there is quite a lot of mess with them... or at least when I use them. The Spectrum Aqua pens are a lot less messy and the colours are great.

OK, moving on to today's picture:

I have been trying to remember which particular sets these stamps came from. I believe the birds came from a Lindsay Mason stamp set and everything else is from a Hobby Arts set. Sorry I can't remember the exact sets. The paper is Crafters Companion Watercolour paper.

I used two pots of water, one for wetting the paper and blending and the other for cleaning my brush, and different sized brushes with the Spectrum Aqua pens.

Here is the picture coloured:

My pictures aren't as bright as the actual picture but I think you can see still that the colours are vibrant and that they blend well. I really like this scene.

I thought you might be interested to see what it looked like in the "My Museum" book.

I hope you enjoyed reading.
