Twenty Ninth Day... Completed!

Dear all,

Well the second to last day of the 30 in 30 challenge has arrived. I can't believe the challenge is almost over. Many of the scenes have gone in to the museum book. Although the bigger ones I have been doing recently, as I have mentioned before, are going in to my boyfriends picture frame.

Today I decided to do a bigger picture. Well technically I decided to do the same picture as yesterdays blog.

Here is the scene from yesterday. It was airbrushed on to glossy cardstock.

I decided I could do better so I thought I would try it in watercolour this time,

Here it is stamped on to watercolour card. I am using the same one as yesterday.

I decided to try the masking fluid today. The super nib was a bit confusing to use to start with but it didn't take long to get the hang of it.

Here is the scene with all the masking done. The tree did take a bit longer to dry. Everything apart from the tree took about 10/15 minutes. The tree probably took 20 minutes.

I used both Windsor and Newton and Terry Harrison paints. I finished the colouring on the scene and then I added the reeds on top.

Here it is finished.

I hope you enjoyed.

SJ
